Throughout the first six games of the season, Trae Young is putting up absolutely ridiculous numbers. He is averaging 29 PPG, 9APG, and 4 RPG. His game reminds a lot of people of Stephen Curry. This is because he is undersized, not "athletic", but very skilled. The biggest strength to his game is his shooting ability. He has a quick release, unlimited range, and can shoot it off the catch and off the dribble. Trae and Steph are both around 6'2"-6'3", and have the same play styles and strengths and weaknesses to their game.
I'm not saying he's going to end up being just as good or better than Steph, but at this stage of his career, he is definitely ahead of him. Trae was a McDonalds All-American and had tons of D1 offers, while Steph was barely recruited out of high school. He was also not putting up the type of numbers Trae is during his freshman year at Davidson.
How good do you guys think Trae will end up being, and where do you think he'll get drafted? Leave your thoughts in the comment section down below!
